4-H Babysitter Training
Monday, June 29 and Tuesday, June 30 at 12:00-4:00 pm
Hey Teens and Tweens!  Want to be able to earn some money this summer?  You can become a certified babysitter at the library!   We will be offering the 4-H Babysitting Course on June 29 & 30, 2015 from 12:00 to 4:00.  Participants must be 11 years old or older and you must attend both days.  To become a responsible babysitter you will learn about:  child safety, first aid and emergencies, stages of child development, discipline, entertaining, and the business of babysitting.  The class will be instructed by a 4-H Program Associate and certificates and I.D. cards will be issued upon successful completion of the course.  The 4-H Babysitting Course is free, however, space is limited and registration is required.  To register call 508-539-1435 X 3001 or email jburke@clamsnet.org.


Summer Events

Every Tuesday from 4:00 to 5:00 - LEGO Club - June 30 through August 25, 2015 - Join the LEGO fun!  The library supplies the LEGOs and you supply the creativity!  School age children welcome.  An adult must accompany children under the age of 10.  No registration required.
Wednesdays at 2:00 PM - Rainy Day Matinee - July 8 through August 26, 2015 If it is not a beach day, the library will show a feature-length family film.  Call 508- 539- 1435 ext. 3001 for the title.
Saturday, July 18 and 25, 2015 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM - Intro to Computer Game Programming - For ages 10 - 14 - A two part, hands-on class using Scratch visual programming.  Registration Required.  Call 508-539-1435 ext. 3001 or email jburke@clamsnet.org.

Tuesday, August 18 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM - Family Reboot Camp with Janell Burley Hofmann - Parents and their teens/tweens talk technology with the author of iRules:  What Every Tech Healthy Family Needs to Know About Selfies, Sexting, Gaming and Growing Up.
